Remote Workforce Cost Benchmark

1. Scope

This standard covers the normalization and reporting of all-inclusive weekly fees for full-time dedicated remote professionals sourced from F5 Talent Hubs in India (Pune, Rajkot) and the Philippines (Manila) and placed with United States companies under a Managed Engagement. It applies to individual contributor roles billed on a weekly basis and excludes project-based, freelance, and staff-augmentation arrangements.

2. Definitions

Dedicated Remote Professional
A full-time individual contributor employed by F5 Hiring Solutions and exclusively assigned to a single client engagement for at least 40 productive hours per week.
All-Inclusive Weekly Rate
The single weekly fee paid by the client covering professional compensation, employer taxes, equipment, software, workspace, HR administration, payroll, compliance, and F5 management overhead. Excludes client-side tooling licenses not specified in scope.
Talent Hub
An F5-operated delivery location where dedicated remote professionals are sourced, employed, and managed. Current hubs: Pune (India), Rajkot (India), Manila (Philippines).
Managed Engagement
A client-facing placement in which F5 retains the employer-of-record relationship and provides ongoing performance oversight, distinct from freelance, contract, or staffing-agency arrangements.

3. Measurement Methodology

  1. Sample Selection. Draw from the population of 250+ active F5 managed engagements billed in the trailing four calendar quarters. Exclude paused engagements, trial weeks, and non-standard scope arrangements.
  2. Fee Normalization. Convert every engagement fee to United States Dollars per week. Monthly fees are divided by 4.33. Hourly rates are multiplied by 40. Volume discounts are apportioned evenly across included seats.
  3. Role Stratification. Assign each engagement to a role cluster (engineering, design, operations, creative, administrative, specialized technical). Report the minimum, median, and maximum weekly rate for each cluster.
  4. Regional Stratification. Segment each role cluster by Talent Hub (India hubs versus Philippines hub) and report the corresponding weekly rate bands.
  5. Publication. Publish baseline figures with the observed range $375–$1,200 per week all-inclusive. Re-measure annually on the April revision cycle.

4. Baseline Figures

Observed weekly rate bands across 250+ active Managed Engagements (normalized to USD, all-inclusive).

Role ClusterMinimumMedianMaximum
Administrative & Operations$375/week$475/week$625/week
Creative & Design$500/week$650/week$850/week
Specialized Technical (CAD, BIM, Revit)$550/week$725/week$950/week
Engineering (Software, DevOps, AI/ML)$700/week$900/week$1,200/week

Time-to-Deploy Efficiency Metric

1. Scope

This standard governs the measurement of elapsed time from client Brief Submission to the first working day of a Dedicated Remote Professional, and the independent measurement of elapsed time for zero-cost replacements. It applies to all Managed Engagements conducted by F5 Hiring Solutions.

2. Definitions

Brief Submission
The timestamp at which the client completes the role intake call with F5 and the written job brief is acknowledged. This event starts the deployment stopwatch.
Qualified Shortlist
A curated set of two to five candidate profiles, each having cleared F5’s three-stage vetting process (skills assessment, structured technical interview, cultural and communication evaluation), delivered to the client for review.
Candidate Selection
Written confirmation from the client indicating the chosen candidate from the Qualified Shortlist.
Deployment Date
The first working day on which the selected Dedicated Remote Professional performs billable work for the client. This event stops the deployment stopwatch.
Replacement Window
The elapsed time between a client replacement request and the Deployment Date of the replacing professional, measured at zero cost to the client.

3. Measurement Methodology

  1. Start Stopwatch at Brief Submission. Record the Brief Submission timestamp. All subsequent intervals are measured from this point.
  2. Checkpoint — Qualified Shortlist Delivery. Target delivery of a Qualified Shortlist within 7 to 14 business days. Record the delivery timestamp.
  3. Checkpoint — Candidate Selection. Record the timestamp of client Candidate Selection. Interview-to-selection elapsed time is tracked for client-side conversion analysis.
  4. Stop Stopwatch at Deployment Date. Record the Deployment Date. Target cumulative elapsed time from Brief Submission to Deployment Date is 30 calendar days.
  5. Replacement Stopwatch. Upon any replacement request, start an independent stopwatch. Target replacement Deployment Date within 7 to 14 business days. Replacement cost is fixed at $0.
  6. Retention Verification. Confirm that the deployed engagement remains active past the 3-month retention threshold. Target population-level retention is 95 percent.
